£35,897 – £41,282 per annum
We are the Royal Armouries, the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world. Our historic home is at the Tower of London, while we also house the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire and operate the flagship museum in Leeds.
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Archives, Library and Records Manager to join the existing Collection Services Team within the Collections, Learning and Research Department. Reporting to the Head of Collection Services, the successful applicant will provide the management, planning and collections care for the nationally and internationally important archive, library and record collections across the Royal Armouries.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan and care for the archive, library and record collections across the Royal Armouries.
- Engage with stakeholders and build relationships at all levels across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven archive background.
- Flexible, highly organised and self‑motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective and professional communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Hours
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some occasional weekends. The role will be mostly office based but with some possibilities for hybrid working.
