The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an experienced and conscientious Senior Catering and Hospitality Manager. For over 150 years, we have been fulfilling our vision of inspiring artists and audiences worldwide with the magic of the iconic Royal Albert Hall; creating life-enriching, unforgettable experiences for everyone.
Catering and Hospitality income allows us to continue fulfilling our charitable aims and building new relationships to enhance audience experience. The Hall is a celebratory venue where the food and beverage offer is of paramount importance, and we work closely with our catering partner Rhubarb to deliver outstanding experiences that reflect our mission of creating a welcoming space for all.
Working alongside the Head of Partnership and Hospitality, the role involves managing and overseeing the Hall's catering contractor to ensure exceptional customer experience, adherence to health and safety standards, and maximum income. The role will monitor service levels, KPIs, and audience interaction, collaborate with internal teams to suggest improvements, manage budgets, and maintain relationships with contractors.
Additionally, supporting marketing and promotion of catering services, monitoring customer feedback, and conducting benchmarking to ensure competitive value are key responsibilities. The role also includes assisting in strategic decision-making and overseeing the catering aspect of hospitality packages.
