The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Lighting Technician to join our Production and Technical team. This is an exciting time to join the lighting team for the new spring season and a fantastic opportunity for an individual wishing to further their career and take on challenging productions at a world-class venue.

The Royal Albert Hall offers a wide range of lighting services in-house which are managed by a team of Lighting Technicians supported by Designers and Operators. Together they provide a world-class lighting system for the world’s most famous stage and other performance spaces around the venue.

The Lighting Technician is a vital team member in the day-to-day running and maintenance of equipment and is also responsible for the setup of events for both internal and external clients. With proven skills in maintaining large moving light rigs, adapting lighting rigs daily, problem solving and a desire to develop new skills within the existing team, an exciting autumn season approaches for the successful candidate with many challenges and rewarding events in the coming year.

This role requires strong knowledge of complex lighting systems.
