Requirements at a glance:

- Age 17 to 47 (must attest before 48th birthday).
- Meet nationality and residency criteria as set out by the RAF.

Education & Training: After basic training, you will undertake undergraduate professional training as a Student Nurse (Adult) at Birmingham City University. The training programme includes:
- Basic Recruit Training – 10 weeks at RAF Halton.
- Specialist training – ongoing and assigned to your role.
- Further development and CPD – ongoing after qualification.
- Completion of a 3‑year BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing at BCU.
Additional Information: On qualification as RN(A), you will maintain currency in clinical practice and undertake continuous professional development.
