We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Yard Grooms to join our friendly team at the RAU Equestrian Centre. This is a flexible casual role offering up to 25 hours per week on a rota basis, making it ideal for students looking to gain hands-on equine experience alongside their studies.
If you enjoy working with horses and being part of a busy equestrian environment, this could be a great opportunity for you. You will support the day-to-day running of the yard, including horse care, stable management and maintaining high standards across the site. You will also work closely with staff, students and clients as part of a welcoming and professional team.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Confident horse handling skills
- A practical and hardworking approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous equine experience is essential, while BHS qualifications or machinery experience would be an advantage. Training can be provided where needed.
