The predicted salary is between 35000 - 43482 £ per year.

Location: Cirencester (and Partner Organisations)

Salary: Lecturer (Grade 8: starting at £38,784 – progressing to £46,049) or Senior Lecturer (Grade 9: starting at £44,746 – progressing to £56,535), per annum, pro rata for part-time appointment.

Working hours: Full-Time; 35 hrs/week, or Part-Time

As part of its academic portfolio, the RAU offers a range of business-focused programmes, including the CMI-accredited BSc (Hons) Business Management, BSc (Hons) Agricultural Business Management, and MSc Business Management.

The RAU is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join its Land and Property Management team to teach across its business-related programmes. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, practice-informed teaching through lectures, seminars and tutorials, while contributing to curriculum development, student support, scholarship and engagement with industry.

A key aspect of the role is preparing students to become future leaders and innovators within the land-based and rural economy by combining academic theory with real-world application. The University welcomes applications from individuals with expertise in areas such as farm business management, agricultural economics, financial management, accounting and finance, or agri-food supply chains. Applicants with relevant industry experience, particularly in farm business or the wider land-based sector, are especially encouraged to apply, enabling teaching to be enriched through contemporary case studies, professional networks and practical insight.
