Junior Academy has an envied reputation for providing a solid platform for aspiring musicians aged 8-18 on Saturdays during term time at Royal Academy of Music, one of the UK’s foremost music conservatoires.
We seek a Bassoon teacher to join our team of experienced teachers from September to inspire our students and provide them with the necessary skills to help them improve and succeed. The post is hourly-paid, and will include individual tuition of students and chamber music sessions.
Candidates should have an experienced performance and teaching portfolio, and have the appropriate characteristic to suit Junior Academy’s ethos.
Junior Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
