The predicted salary is between 31600 - 31600 £ per year.

Part-Time: 26 hours per week (0.8 FTE), working onsite 4 days per week.

Salary range: £31,560 pro rata per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Contract type: Permanent.

The Royal Academy of Music is one of the world’s leading conservatoires. Based in central London adjacent to Regent’s Park, we have trained musicians to the highest professional standards since 1822 and we are firmly focused on developing tomorrow’s musical leaders in disciplines including classical, jazz, composition and musical theatre.

The Instrument Loans Co‑ordinator provides administrative support and operational coordination to the Stringed Instrument Department (Museum and Collections) of the Academy and works closely with the Curator, Instrument and the Academy luthiers. Responsibilities include issuing and maintaining records principally concerned with instrument loans and related financial issues, and managing a wide range of relationships with students and staff, mainly from the Stringed Instrument Department, Historical Performance and Junior Academy as well as professionals associated with the Royal Academy of Music.

Effective communication with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally, as well as the ability to work efficiently on own initiative and as part of a team, are essential to this role. A strong commitment to the ethos and purpose of the Academy and to providing excellent customer service is also required.
