Part-Time: 21 hours per week

Salary range: £25,147 to £29,260 per annum inclusive of London Allowance

The Royal Academy of Music is one of the world’s leading conservatoires. The Estates department is responsible for the safe operation of all property under the Academy portfolio. We are a small but busy team focused on delivering the best customer service.

The Health and Safety Manager is to be the leading competent person in terms of the Management of Health and Safety legislation and as such be responsible for coordinating the actions necessary to achieve the objectives of the Academy's Health and Safety Policy. The Health and Safety Manager will be a key contributor to the Academy Health and Safety Committee.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record providing sensible, compliant, proportionate, health and safety advice to all levels of employees, including senior management. You must be a confident communicator and engaging trainer, with skills in designing, delivering and implementing health and safety training for all stakeholders. You will be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent or working towards it.
