We are looking for an excellent Estates Systems & Engineering Manager to join our Estates Operations team. You will be part of a dynamic department that is responsible for keeping hard and soft FM services running to a high standard, underpinning the world‑class delivery of our academic, philanthropic and commercial activities across all buildings and venues.
As a team we place customer service and an excellent building user experience front and centre in all that we do, and embody this through a supportive work culture, dynamic teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration. You will be key in supporting the Facilities & Maintenance Manager and taking the lead in keeping our Estates systems and plant running efficiently, ensuring statutory compliance, PPMs, repairs and M&E projects are managed intelligently and effectively.
This is a hands‑on operational role and will require occasional weekend working.
The successful candidate will have robust knowledge of building management systems including CAFM, BMS, HVAC, lighting control, energy management systems (EMS), security, life safety and vertical transportation. They will work to deliver real‑time monitoring, predictive maintenance capability, improve system uptime and performance and value for money contractor works. They will also be the subject matter expert advising on BAU, life cycle planning and investment across all M&E disciplines. Previous experience in working in HE and live entertainment settings would be beneficial.
