We are looking for an excellent Security Manager to join our Estates Operations team.

You will be part of a dynamic department that is responsible for responsible for the security of the Academy’s building and contents, ensuring a secure environment for all premises users, underpinning the world-class delivery of our academic, philanthropic and commercial activities across all buildings and venues.

As a team we place customer service and an excellent building user experience front and centre in all that we do, and embody this through a supportive work culture, dynamic teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.

You will be key in supporting the Head of Operations (Estates) and taking the lead in ensuring optimum operation of all life safety, customer service, and security services across all venues, museum, collections, academic, admin and performance spaces on- and off-site.

This is a hands-on operational role and will require occasional weekend working.

The successful candidate will have robust knowledge of security operations, building systems (CCTV, life safety systems, access control and intruder alarms) and customer service.

They will work to deliver real-time monitoring, advanced planning and a collaborative work culture.

Previous experience in working in HE and live entertainment settings would be beneficial.
