We’re looking for a Grant Processes Officer to support the Academy’s grant operations, helping to ensure our funding programmes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with best practice. In this role, you’ll become a key user and point of contact for the Grant Management System (full training provided). You will work with teams across the Academy to support the launch of new funding rounds, maintain accurate and high-quality grants data, and ensure that grant changes are processed in a consistent and compliant way.
A key part of the role will be helping colleagues use the system and its related grant processes confidently. You’ll maintain clear guidance, develop training materials (including content for our internal learning platform), and support new colleagues through system onboarding. You’ll also manage the central grants inbox and serve as the first point of contact for system and process queries, ensuring colleagues receive timely and reliable support.
You will help drive improvements to our funding delivery by testing new system features, helping to refine cross-team processes, and supporting team change initiatives. You’ll stay engaged with universities and the wider research administration community, helping us remain aligned with sector developments and best practice in grant-making. The role also includes broader operational support, including coordinating the regular meetings that help keep our team’s work running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new systems, supporting others, and working collaboratively. If you thrive on organisation, attention to detail and making processes work better for everyone, we’d love to hear from you.
