We are currently recruiting for a passionate Deputy Production Manager , to join our Production team on a full time permanent basis.

As a Deputy Production Manager, you will be part of a vibrant team at one of the world’s most famous cultural venues, with the opportunity to shape memorable events and experiences for a wide audience. You’ll work in an inclusive, collaborative environment that values creativity, passion, and professionalism.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside talented programming, producing, and production teams to bring our diverse range of events to life.

In this vital role, you will:

  1. Collaborate with the Programming, Producing, and Production teams to deliver Southbank Centre productions to the highest standard.
  2. Establish and streamline production processes, ensuring the seamless coordination of production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  3. Oversee production meetings, debriefs, and communications with both internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  4. Manage a programme of events for Southbank Centre’s Resident Orchestras, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
  5. Prepare budgets, schedules, and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with Southbank Centre’s health and safety policies.

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  1. Experience working in production for music or performing arts events, with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects on time.
  2. A strong understanding of the needs of artists and/or orchestras.
  3. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements (IOSH level) and the ability to devise creative solutions to technical and logistical challenges.
  4. Familiarity with diary management software such as Artifax 4 would be an advantage.
