We have a fantastic opportunity to join the RA’s award‑winning Sponsorship and Partnerships team, where we pride ourselves on creating and delivering high‑quality, mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships with organisations such as BNP Paribas, Insight Investment, Creed Fragrances, Sotheby’s and Claridge’s.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and confident Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager to retain and grow corporate sponsorship for the Academy’s world‑class exhibition programme and the RA Schools.
Responsibilities
- Retain and grow corporate sponsorship for the Academy’s world‑class exhibition programme and the RA Schools.
- Develop, nurture and deepen lasting relationships with key corporate partners.
- Research and implement a structured, well‑considered benefit delivery process, while allowing for creative and novel ways of adding value to existing sponsorships.
- Represent the RA at social events, building rapport with corporate partners and promoting the Academy’s mission.
About You
You possess sufficient business development and/or account management experience, ideally with corporate clients. Confident, articulate, fluent and persuasive, you are adept at networking and forging long‑lasting relationships.
Polished and well presented, you are comfortable at social events, unafraid of initiating contact and building relationships with key corporate partners.
You are organised and methodical in your approach to research and business development, following a structured and well‑considered benefit delivery process while allowing for creativity and novel ways of adding value to existing sponsorships.
The Company
The RA dates back to 1768 when a group of artists and architects persuaded King George III to help them establish a society for promoting the Art of Design. Since then, the RA’s core purpose of bringing art and design to a broad audience and championing art and artists has remained unchanged.
