The Role

Working closely with experienced lawyers and fee earners, you'll help manage a varied caseload and provide practical support to vulnerable clients and their families. Day-to-day work can involve everything from preparing court applications to communicating with banks, care providers and financial institutions on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of clients' property and financial affairs
  • Drafting applications, correspondence, witness statements and Court of Protection documentation
  • Liaising with clients, family members, care providers, local authorities and other stakeholders
  • Attending client meetings and preparing detailed attendance notes
  • Supporting the team with file management and general case administration

  • Existing paralegals seeking a new challenge
  • Recent law graduates or those finishing studies now
  • Individuals with experience in care, banking, property management or other client-focused environments
  • Candidates looking to develop a long-term career within the legal profession

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and empathetic approach with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with clients and their families
  • The ability to handle sensitive client information with tact and discretion
  • A highly flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong IT skills including confident use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
