I'm working with a leading London law firm that is looking to strengthen its in-house recruitment team with a newly created position focused on sourcing qualified lawyers.
The opportunity could suit someone currently recruiting lawyers within an agency who is interested in moving in-house, particularly if they enjoy the research, headhunting and candidate relationship side of recruitment.
The firm has an excellent reputation and a well-established recruitment function, with the opportunity to work directly with partners and senior lawyers across its practice areas.
The role will involve:
- Proactively identifying and approaching qualified lawyers across the legal market.
- Building relationships and talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Carrying out detailed market mapping and competitor research.
- Working with partners and the recruitment team to understand hiring priorities.
- Providing market intelligence and helping develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Supporting wider recruitment initiatives and projects.
We're particularly interested in someone who currently works in a legal recruitment agency and spends a significant amount of their time speaking with qualified lawyers.
You’ll need a good understanding of law firms, practice areas and the legal recruitment market, alongside strong candidate engagement and sourcing experience.
Although you’ll be joining an in-house recruitment team, this is not a traditional end-to-end recruitment position. The emphasis is on direct sourcing, research and developing long-term relationships.
