Leading London Law Firm | 18-month FTC | London

Are you an experienced agency recruiter considering a move in-house, or an internal recruiter looking for a role with greater ownership and variety?

I'm working with a highly regarded London law firm to recruit a Recruitment Advisor on an 18-month fixed-term contract, supporting recruitment across its business services functions.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone from an agency background. The hiring manager is very open to experienced agency recruiters who can bring commercial awareness, energy, initiative and the confidence to manage recruitment processes from start to finish.

The opportunity

This is a genuinely broad, hands-on recruitment role offering considerably more involvement than simply managing vacancies and coordinating interviews.

Working closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, you'll take ownership of recruitment across functions including Finance, HR, Marketing, Risk, Innovation and AI.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial briefing through to offer acceptance.
  • Advising hiring managers on recruitment strategy, market conditions, salaries and candidate expectations.
  • Conducting candidate screening calls and participating in competency-based interviews.
  • Helping shape job descriptions and recruitment processes.
  • Managing offers, advising on salary levels and negotiating with candidates.
  • Building relationships with recruitment agencies and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Contributing ideas to improve recruitment processes and ways of working.

About you

We're looking for someone with at least three years' recruitment experience, gained either in an agency or in-house environment.

Experience recruiting across business services or professional services would be advantageous, but your approach, personality and ability to build relationships will be particularly important.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence interviewing candidates and managing offers.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies across different levels of seniority.
  • The ability to prioritise, work independently and remain calm under pressure.
  • A positive, engaging personality and genuine enthusiasm for recruitment.

Why consider it?

You'll join a supportive, collaborative recruitment team within a prestigious law firm, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and take real ownership of your vacancies.

For an agency recruiter looking to move in-house without losing the variety, pace and commercial involvement they enjoy, this could be an excellent next step.
