About Us: Roxtec was founded in Sweden in 1990 and is the world leader in the field of cable and pipe seals. This market position has been achieved by pursuing a consistent, customer-oriented strategy. Our pioneering modular-based seals with Multidiameter™ are the base for our rapid and sustainable growth, built on committed people, strong values, and a clear customer focus.
We are currently seeking a sales development representative to join our growing business. The role will be varied in focus, primarily driving new opportunities within growing market sectors, working from owners through to site contractors. You will have the phone-based selling skills to help grow and drive our new business platform, enabling you to learn and develop into an external sales role within 2 years. We are looking for someone with the drive and motivation to succeed through delivering results whilst developing yourself internally.
Roxtec has created this role to provide a pathway into a full technical sales manager role after successful completion of training, development, and delivery of sales targets and results. It would ideally suit a person wishing to move from a more hands-on role to sales or someone with internal sales/commercial experience wishing to develop practical engineering skills with a view to progression into technical sales.
The employee is required to develop new opportunities to specify Roxtec solutions on projects, working with owners, engineers, and installers in our chosen applications. We want to drive our frontend interactions with key stakeholders. The role will be varied, carrying out specific investigations of projects, contacting and promoting our unique solution offer, and account mapping to assist with business development opportunities for the external technical sales.
You will also be responsible for offering advice and support on the best installation approach, utilising our range of literature and product guides to help secure a quality installation. This role will be office-based a minimum of 3 days a week; however, if living outside a commutable distance from the office, full expenses will be paid to cover this.
Office base: Greater London WC1H 0AE.
