Company Description
At ROXFIT, we’re building the ultimate training, racing and community platform to serve Hybrid athletes around the world. From training & tracking, intelligence & insights to a dedicated social community, we’re building something big in one of the fastest growing fitness markets in the world.
We’re growing extremely fast and just secured our pre-seed funding to bring our vision to life. We’ve made a great start with a small team but we have an exciting roadmap on ambitious timelines, this is where you come in. You’ll be one of the first (if not first) employees through the door.
Role Description
We’re on the lookout for a founding engineer who lives and breathes code, loves to solve complex problems, enjoys health & fitness (bonus points for Hybrid fitness) and most importantly wants to be part of an early stage startup. You love building things, have experience with production projects but have always wanted to scratch the itch of building your own company / product. Luckily for you, we’ve done a lot of the hard work already and built something people love so you don’t have to start from scratch.
We don’t care about education and degrees, we care about your attitude, enthusiasm, bias for action and ability to solve complex problems. Ideally you’re based in London (office in Battersea) so we can spend 2-3 days together as a founding team to move fast. Speed is critical and you need to be comfortable shipping code quickly and iterating even quicker. Don’t worry, we write tests for critical components & logic, but you won’t find TDD here at this early stage.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with the CEO/CTO and you’ll have ambitions to become the CTO over time. Here’s what you’ll be working with:
Frontend
Mobile App -> Flutter
WatchOS -> SwiftUI (Bonus)
Garmin -> Monkey C (Bonus)
Backend
Server -> NodeJS + Express + MongoDB
Scripts -> Python (Bonus)

- We offer a salary of £55k-75k, plus equity in the form of ROXFIT stock options.
- Flexible working (we typically work 2-3 days in our office in Battersea)
