About ROXFIT

ROXFIT is building the ultimate hybrid fitness platform - combining in-person training, tracking, habit systems, community, and next-generation product design into one seamless experience. Our vision is to create a platform that genuinely helps people stay accountable, build lasting habits, and achieve meaningful transformation. We blend technology, psychology, and world-class coaching into a single integrated experience. We’ve recently launched V2, and we’re moving fast. Things are breaking, evolving, and improving constantly. We need someone who wants to help us build a category-defining product from the ground up. We’re at a pivotal growth moment and looking for a QA Engineer who combines strong technical understanding with a deep care for product quality and user experience. This role is for someone who enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity and helping a fast-moving product scale without breaking.

What You’ll Do

  • Run cross-functional QA triage across bugs, features, user feedback, and engineering tasks
  • Turn unstructured reports from support and internal stakeholders into clear, reproducible, actionable tickets
  • Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Technical CEO to keep the engineering pipeline aligned, unblocked, and moving quickly
  • QA features and fixes before release, ensuring they’re stable, production-ready, and match the user experience we promise
  • Investigate, reproduce, and validate issues across mobile (Flutter) and backend (Node.js)
  • Get directly involved with the codebase to replicate scenarios by adjusting data or tweaking existing code
  • Identify UX, flow, and edge-case issues early and surface them before they reach users
  • Create lightweight processes that strengthen quality without slowing down the team
  • Maintain momentum across engineering by reducing noise, uncertainty, and ambiguity
  • Become the link between users, product, engineering, and support for all things quality

You will be deeply involved in shaping the reliability and stability of future versions of ROXFIT.

Who This Role Is For

  • A QA engineer with proven software development experience, or an engineer who naturally thinks like QA
  • Someone who is comfortable coding using the technologies in our stack
  • Someone who enjoys debugging, reproducing complex issues, and turning chaos into clarity
  • A generalist problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving environment
  • A clear communicator who can simplify complex systems and write structured defect reports
  • Someone comfortable with both mobile (Flutter) and backend (Node.js) development
  • Someone who cares deeply about product quality and user experience
  • Ideally: someone with a real connection to fitness – HYROX, functional fitness, hybrids, endurance, etc. (context genuinely matters)

A genuine passion for fitness is essential. You will be testing features designed for hybrid athletes, coaches, and competitors – understanding the context helps you spot issues others miss.

Requirements

  • London-based
  • In-office 3 days per week (Battersea)
  • Experience in QA with engineering ability, or engineering with strong QA exposure
  • Confident working with backend systems, logs, APIs, and reproducing complex flows
  • Can operate in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Clear communication and structured thinking
  • Strong interest in health, fitness, and hybrid training

What Success Looks Like

  • Product issues are caught early, long before they reach users
  • Engineering moves faster because blockers are surfaced and resolved quickly
  • Quality bottlenecks are lifted
  • You run QA operations end-to-end with clarity and confidence
  • Releases become smoother, more predictable, and less noisy
  • You become the person the team relies on to maintain quality and momentum

In simple terms: you help protect the product, shape quality, and keep ROXFIT running smoothly as we scale.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful equity
  • High ownership from day one
  • Work directly with the founder and Lead Engineer
  • Help build a category-defining hybrid fitness product
  • Opportunities for growth

How to Apply

  • Step 1 - Head to: Fill out the form and upload a short video and any documents. All information is on the form.
  • Step 2 - Online Chat: If shortlisted, you’ll join a video call with Ben (Co-Founder & CEO) and/or Karim (Lead Engineer). Come down to the office and meet the leadership team.
