At Valeo Foods UK we bring together a family of much-loved UK food brands supported by the scale and ambition of a global investment partner. From Kettle’s bold crunch to Rowse’s natural sweetness, through to Matthew Walker and Barratt Sweets, our portfolio blends heritage, craft and category-leading innovation. Alongside our branded portfolio, we are also one of the UK’s largest suppliers of private label products, partnering with major retailers to deliver quality and category expertise that meets the needs of millions of households every week.

As a business, we’re on a journey of transformation. We’re strengthening our operations, driving quality and investing in our people. It’s an exciting, fast-moving environment where heritage meets new thinking, and where every colleague contributes to shaping the future of food across the UK. Join us and play your part in building the next chapter of some of Britain’s most loved brands.

This is a high-impact role, where finance meets strategy and collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with commercial, sales, marketing and brand teams – getting under the skin of customer performance, market dynamics and margin opportunities, and turning insight into action. This role can be home-based, with some travel to sites and key meetings as needed – ideal for someone who thrives on flexibility but enjoys being close to the brands and people they support.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading on commercial insight and pricing strategy
  • Business partnering across sales and brand functions
  • Supporting big-name customer relationships and decision-making
  • Bringing fresh thinking to how we grow profitably and sustainably
  • Managing and developing two finance team members

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), ideally with FMCG experience, and someone who can confidently move between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis – and still make it make sense to non-finance stakeholders. If you love working across great brands, adding value beyond the numbers, and being part of a team that’s always evolving – this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
