Our client is a leading Defence business. They are recruiting a senior commercial manager to be the commercial lead on a high-profile major programme.

Role

  • Experienced senior commercial manager on a major in-life programme.
  • Managing the commercial delivery of a large contract, managing customer relationships as well as working closely with operations and account management colleagues.
  • Negotiation of new business, subject to single source regulations.
  • Commercial lead with a small team of 1-2 commercial managers, reporting to the Business Unit Commercial Director.

Experience

  • You will have a mix of pre and post contract experience at the Senior Commercial Manager level.
  • Experience of working for a Defence company on a major programme is highly desirable.
  • You will ideally have existing SC clearance that can be transferred, or no issues with being granted SC clearance.

Location and Travel

  • Flexible working with anticipated travel of 1 day per month to the Bristol office after the first few weeks.

Salary

  • Up to £80K + car + bonus + benefits.
