Rowland Woodhouse is a well respected engineering company based in North Walsham, specialising in the animal feed and flour milling industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our Drawing Office team with the addition of a motivated and enthusiastic CAD Technician.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position offering involvement in multiple aspects of the design and production process. Responsibilities will include:
- Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Generating CNC production data
- Compiling bills of materials (BOMs)
- Preparing technical documentation and literature
- Supporting manufacturing and project teams
- Occasional site visits as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in engineering and design
- An understanding of structural, sheet metal, or mechanical engineering principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
While experience is desirable, full in house training will be provided for the right candidate. There may also be opportunities to undertake specialist training and further professional development as your career progresses with the company.
