Overview
Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering prescriptions to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring that you always provide courteous and effective customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handle important medication and understand the importance of delivering high‑quality service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Interact with vulnerable individuals within the community, building rapport and ensuring they receive their medication when they need it.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date administrative records, including completing delivery logs, tracking inventory and ensuring all necessary documentation is properly filed.
- Provide holiday and sick cover when needed.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle with business insurance.
- Prior experience in customer service and delivery driving preferred but not required.
- Compliance with company policies regarding safe transport of goods and maintaining the security of the van.
