40 hours per week; Monday to Friday (09:00‐13:00 and 14:00‐18:00). Branch closes for lunch and does not open weekends.

OverviewRowlands Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated, patient‐focused Pharmacist to lead a team and make a difference in the community. The Wrose branch is staffed by 5 experienced members (1 Non‐Pharm manager, 3 healthcare professionals, 1 ACPT and a trainee ACPT) and dispenses around 8,000 items per month beside a doctor’s surgery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day‐to‐day pharmacy operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

Oversee a dedicated team, providing guidance, support, and training.

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, complying with all legal and ethical guidelines.

Provide medication counselling, answer patient questions, and address concerns.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to optimise patient care.

Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe, effective medication management.

Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.

Provide immunisation services where applicable.

Offer advice on over‐the‐counter medications and healthcare products.

Actively participate in health promotion and public‐health initiatives.

What We Require

Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Up‐to‐date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.

Flexible and positive approach to problem‐solving.
