We're looking for a Central Pharmacy Operative to come join us, based at Numark in Runcorn. Numark is a state-of-the-art automated medication assembly centre, established in 2017 as part of the Rowlands Pharmacy estate. We're dedicated to placing patient safety at the heart of everything we do, combining advanced technology with a passionate team to deliver accurate, reliable, and efficient dispensing services. In this role, you'll play a key part in our end-to-end assembly process, helping us ensure that every item we dispense meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and care. The heart of the role:

  • Participate in the full medication assembly process, carrying out quality control and assurance checks.
  • Manage pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, de-blistering and filing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the assembly centre and all associated equipment.
  • Work closely with the Numark Operations Manager and wider team to meet deadlines and uphold patient safety.
  • Accurately complete administrative tasks and ensure records are always kept to the required standard.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong, accurate administrative skills.
  • Confident and engaged when working with technology.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • Desirable: NVQ2 Pharmacy/Dispensing Services (or willingness to enrol on the appropriate course upon starting).
