  • Working Hours, Pattern & Pay
  • Total Working Hours: 17
  • Working Pattern: Wednesday – 9am to 6pm; Friday – 9am to 6pm
  • Rate of Pay: £16.11 per hour
  • Branch: Milnrow Health Centre, Milnrow & Newhey Medical Centre, Newhey Road, Newhey, Rochdale, OL16 4JF

  • What Your Working Day Will Look Like
  • Participate in the entire dispensing process
  • Check and prepare medication orders
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals
  • Deliver courteous and effective customer service at all times
  • Complete and maintain accurate administrative records
  • Manage inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
  • Receive, store and issue medications and other supplies
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Provide healthcare advice and signpost customers to appropriate resources when necessary

Qualifications

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPh C)
  • Holding an NVQ3
  • Completed the accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services and possess a Certificate of Final Accuracy Checking Qualification
  • Prior experience in a customer‑focused environment
