Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy. You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
  • Stock ordering and management
  • Invoicing and financing deliveries
  • All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy

Qualifications:

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course
  • Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
  • Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate

Essential skills:

  • Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
