Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
- Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions.
- Stock ordering and management.
- Invoicing and financing deliveries.
- All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course.
- Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
- Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.
Experience and Skills
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality.
- Ability to handle medications accurately.
- Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of confidentiality.

Hours and Pattern
- Total Hours Contracted: 20hrs
- Working Pattern: Thursday 9:30am-5:30pm, Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday
