Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Lincoln branch. As a Pharmacy Technician in one of Rowlands hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.

- Carry out all dispensing activities under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Develop positive working relationships with healthcare professionals
- Assist in the development of other staff members where appropriate
- Deliver appropriate healthcare advice and signpost where necessary
- Ensure that all Essential/Enhanced/Advanced Services are successfully promoted and carried out in accordance with Company SOP’s
- Assist and participate in healthy living events where necessary
- Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required
- In the absence of a manager, take on additional responsibilities as a registered professional
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dispensary
- Perform date checking and cleaning in accordance with company SOP’s and ensure adequate records are maintained
- Receive, store, maintain, and issue stock in accordance with Company SOP’s
- Follow shrinkage procedures and use DSRS where appropriate
- NVQ level 3 – Pharmacy Technician
- GPhC registration
- Up-to-date knowledge of all statutory regulations
- Ability to accurately handle medicines
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Self-motivation and the ability to take the initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines
