Total Working Hours and Schedule
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday – day off; Tuesday 10:00‑17:30 (1‑hour break); Wednesday – day off; Thursday 09:00‑17:30 (1‑hour break); Friday 01:00‑17:30; Saturday 09:00‑13:00.
Rate of Pay
£16.11 per hour.

What Your Working Day Will Look Like
- Participating in the entire dispensing process.
- Checking and preparing medication orders.
- Ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Delivering courteous and effective customer service at all times.
- Completing and maintaining accurate administrative records.
- Managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment.
- Receiving, storing, and issuing medications and other supplies.
- Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Providing healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources when necessary.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), have an NVQ Level 3 qualification, and have completed the additional accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services. You must provide a certificate for the Final Accuracy Checking qualification; otherwise, your application will be rejected. Prior experience in a customer‑focused environment is also required.
