Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Analytical Scientist to join a scientific research company in Oxfordshire.
The company has a novel technology platform and specialises in the formulation and development of biologicals to combat infections.
The Role:
- Perform analysis of biomolecules using ELISA and HPLC.
- Develop, validate and troubleshoot analytical methods for the analysis of a range of complex formulations.
- Design and lead experiments to overcome technical challenges with Biochemical analysis.
- Plan and lead stability studies
- Lead on projects and write analytical report, including presenting data.
- Mentor and train new members of staff.
Ideal candidates:
Will be PhD or degree qualified in Bioscience/ Biochemistry or related Life Sciences subject and have experience in HPLC and ELISA.
You must have experience in developing, validating and troubleshooting methods for the analysis of biomolecules including HPLC, ELISA and transfection.
Experience in Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Protein/ DNA Assays or Cell-based Assays is desirable.
