R&D Chemist

We are working with a specialty materials company in Staffordshire who are looking for an R&D Chemist.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop novel advanced materials in support of new product development
  • Conduct materials synthesis
  • Scale-up chemistry to pilot plant scale.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and customers to deliver projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Run analysis on competitor products
  • Demonstrate the performance of the company’s products.

Ideal candidates:

You will have recently graduated with either an Masters (MSc, Mchem) or a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, Material Science or related discipline.

Experience/ knowledge in one of the following: coatings, inks, polymer processing, or Nanodispersions is essential for the role.
