We are pleased to be working with a leading Materials Testing and Inspection company who are looking for a Head of Laboratory for their site in the South East.
As the Laboratory Manager/ Head of Laboratory you will lead a specialist team and manage all construction materials testing covering aggregates, asphalt or concrete
Responsibilities include:

Manage and lead all physical testing of materials within the laboratory.

Design and develop testing procedures.

Lead, coach and monitor a laboratory team.

Troubleshoot testing methods and oversee maintenance of equipment.

Ensure all work is carried out to the relevant quality standards and maintain the QMS.

Manage all projects from conception/ proposal through to completion.
Ideal candidates will have significant experience in managing a physical testing laboratory and have expertise in construction materials testing such as concrete, aggregates and stone.
