We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Scientist – LC-MS/MS to join a growing company in the Northwest. The Senior Scientist will have a PhD (or Masters with equivalent experience) in proteomics or protein biochemistry with expertise in LC-MS/MS proteomics.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct analysis of clinical samples to identify new biomarkers
- Develop LC-MS/MS targeted assays to support the development of the company’s technology platform
- Troubleshoot and maintain LC-MS/MS instruments
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Support and run process improvement projects
Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Biochemistry/Protein Sciences or similar. You will have experience running LC-MS/MS along with experience in troubleshooting methods and instrumentation. It is highly desirable that candidates have experience in running triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, developing targeted methods, and have expertise in LC-MS/MS proteomic technologies for the identification and validation of clinical biomarkers.
