We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Formulation Process Development Scientist to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical company in Oxfordshire.
Joining this Pharmaceutical research company, you will carry out laboratory-based process development activities supporting scale up manufacturing processes for solid dosage forms.
Responsibilities include:
- To develop and optimise processes for the scale-up and lab scale manufacturing of tablets.
- Plan and carry out lab experiments to develop processes from formulations.
- Work collaboratively with other teams including Formulation, Analytical and Engineering.
- Interpret data/results and write project reports.
Ideal candidates will be degree (BSc, Beng, Masters) or PhD qualified in a science or engineering subject (chemistry, chemical engineering, Pharmaceutical Science) and have experience in the formulation or process development of tablets (solid dosage forms) working to GMP.
Experience in the development of manufacturing processes including powder blending, tabletting is highly desirable.
Please note that candidates need to have full right to work in the UK.
