The team conducts testing on a wide range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring products meet international safety standards. This includes items such as fall protection equipment, gloves, protective clothing, helmets, and more. The department operates accredited laboratories with advanced testing facilities and supports a global customer base.
The Role
This role focuses on fall protection PPE, including harnesses, lanyards, and safety systems. Testing is carried out both indoors and outdoors, including work at height.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical testing of PPE in line with international standards
- Operate and maintain testing equipment
- Record and prepare test results for reporting
- Prepare samples prior to testing
- Maintain laboratory and storage areas
- Support customer visits and demonstrations
- Work in line with quality (UKAS) and health & safety standards
