Ready to take the next step in your analytical chemistry career? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading company for a GC-MS Analytical Chemist/ Team Leader to join their state-of-the-art laboratory. This is a key role leading a team of lab analysts, delivering high-quality environmental testing across complex matrices using advanced GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead GC-MS analytical projects to meet targets
- Operate & troubleshoot GC-MS / GC-MS/MS instrumentation
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Develop and optimise analytical methods
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 quality standards
About You
- BSc in Chemistry (or related)
- Strong GC-MS / GC-MS/MS experience
- Background in an accredited lab (ideally environmental)
- Experience mentoring or leading Analysts
- Skilled in troubleshooting and method development
