We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or recently qualified RVN, or a nurse returning to practice, who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys no two days being the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver the highest standard of nursing care to hospitalised patients, ensuring excellent welfare and clinical outcomes.
  • Anaesthesia and Surgery: Assist with surgical and dental procedures, monitor anaesthesia (including MRI anaesthetics), and support veterinary surgeons during operations.
  • Nurse-led Clinics: Run engaging and informative nurse clinics, promoting preventative healthcare and strengthening client relationships.
  • Advanced Services Support: Assist with MRI procedures and support our feline radioactive iodine unit.
  • Client Communication: Provide clear, compassionate guidance to clients, building trust and confidence in our clinical services.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute positively to a supportive team culture, striving for clinical excellence and always doing things the right way.

About the Role

This is a part‑time position working three days per week – ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – though we can offer flexibility on days and hours for the right candidate. Shifts are ideally 8 hours, with working hours between 8 am and 7:30 pm (no earlier starts or later finishes required). As part of the nursing team, you will also participate in a 1:12 weekend rota at our Bradley Stoke Hospital, working Saturday and Sunday.

The successful person will be joining our Wotton‑under‑Edge Surgery & MRI Centre – a busy, first‑opinion practice committed to delivering exceptional clinical care in a friendly and supportive environment. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Junction 14 of the M5 with easy access to Bristol, our well‑equipped practice offers a varied and rewarding caseload, alongside advanced imaging and specialist services. You will be joining a friendly, motivated and clinically driven team that is passionate about patient care and professional development.
