We have a great opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our Bradley Stoke Hospital on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop your nursing skills, including ward shifts with our dedicated inpatient team, supporting operations and procedures, and running your own nursing clinic lists.
What we’re looking for: You will work a varied rota across a five‑day week, with 8‑hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm. You will also take part in the weekend day rota, working Saturday and Sunday hospital shifts as part of our Emergency Veterinary Service for Rowe clients and several other Bristol practices. Weekend shifts are worked on a 1‑in‑6 basis, with days off the following week to provide a long weekend. In a bustling hospital environment, you will thrive as part of a large friendly team. We value coaching and development, and we are looking for someone who enjoys developing others and is willing to help train our student veterinary nurses.
Team & Facilities: You will join a well‑established team of 10 Veterinary nurses, students, several experienced veterinary care assistants and a fantastic receptionist team. Our tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital provides excellent facilities, including digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy and more. We pride ourselves on clinical excellence whilst also providing a patient‑appropriate compassionate service for our clients.
