Overview: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time) — Bradley Stoke — Up to £20,125 DOE — Part-time, 23 hours per week — 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with on-call rota 1:5 weekends and one night a week.

Rowe Referrals is a long-established multidisciplinary veterinary hospital providing exceptional care across soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, oncology, dentistry, behaviour, and radioactive iodine therapy. Our hospital operates 24/7, with advanced facilities including MRI, CT, ultrasonography, scopes, an on-site laboratory, and a highly skilled nursing and support team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to patients across multiple referral disciplines.
  • Assist in theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care, ensuring high clinical standards.
  • Support clients with compassionate communication and guidance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care and clinical practices.
  • Participate in on-call rota (1 night/week + 1 weekend in 5) with overtime remuneration.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of nurses, support staff, and clinicians.

Qualifications:

  • RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience in referral or hospital nursing (desirable).
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to high standards of patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and colleague interactions.
