We are delighted to open applications for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Rowe Veterinary Group at our purpose‑built Veterinary Hospital in Bradley Stoke. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a 24‑hour hospital environment, alongside dedicated referral clinicians, experienced RVNs and a committed out‑of‑hours team. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
- Cover nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imaging
- Monitor anaesthesia and sedation for patients undergoing diagnostics, surgery and rechecks
- Assist in theatre
- Support first‑opinion and referral cases, acting as a key point of contact for clients including organising admissions and discharges
- Deliver excellent inpatient care within our wards
- Support the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency cases
This is a full‑time 40 hrs per week position on a rota basis with 1:6 weekends, fixed‑term contract for approximately 6 months. Full‑time hours are Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 2 am with a one‑hour unpaid break.
