Inspiring Class Teacher: Growth, Training & Support in Devizes

Rowde Church of England Primary Academy is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Class Teacher to join its dedicated team on a full-time basis, starting September 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher looking to join a thriving school which is committed to the academic progress and emotional wellbeing of each individual child. QTS is essential for the role.

We are a welcoming and caring school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the charming village of Rowde, Wiltshire, we have close links with the local parish (who are actively involved in school life) and wider community. • Is committed to becoming a truly excellent teacher;
• Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve student attainment;
• Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and students make superior progress;
• Is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
• Has a commitment to extra-curricular activities;
• Is aware of current initiatives in primary education;
• Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in our school and our curriculum;
• Is creative and energetic with a good sense of humour;
• Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
• Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
• A desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
