This is a fantastic opportunity to join Rowcroft Hospice and play a key role in connecting our clinical administration teams across the Inpatient Unit, Medical Team, Community and Hospice at Home services.
You'll be a visible, supportive leader who keeps things moving behind the scenes — coordinating people, systems and processes to help our clinical teams deliver outstanding care to patients and families across South Devon.
No two days will be quite the same. From coordinating referrals and seven-day cover to supporting clinical systems, improving processes and developing your team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference through the work you do every day.
What you'll bring
We're looking for an organised, confident and compassionate team player who enjoys bringing people together and making things happen.
- Experience working within a busy administration environment and line managing an administration team.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using databases and digital systems, with strong Microsoft 365 skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to embrace change and innovation.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- A genuine commitment to Rowcroft's values and the difference hospice care makes to local people.
Experience of healthcare records, clinical IT systems, hospice or palliative care would be advantageous.
