Our collection box volunteers are an important part of our fundraising team – together they raise about £20,000 each year and help get our name known in our local community.
If you want to help Rowcroft, while making new friends and connections in your local area then this flexible volunteering opportunity may be for you.
We’re looking for organised, reliable and friendly people with a means of transport to join our team. We currently need help to look after collection boxes and local businesses in the Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton area and also Torquay.
You would be responsible for checking and changing our collection boxes in pubs, restaurants and businesses in your designated area – each needs to be checked at least every 3-6 months and full boxes brought to the hospice to be counted. Hopefully you can also find some new places!
We will provide you with training and everything else you need.
