Volunteer Collection Box Coordinator at Rowcroft Hospice

Our collection box volunteers are a vital part of our fundraising team, helping us raise approximately £20,000 each year and increasing awareness of our work in the local community.

If you\’re interested in supporting Rowcroft while making new friends and connections in your area, this flexible volunteering opportunity could be perfect for you.

We are looking for organized, reliable, and friendly individuals with access to transportation to join our team.

Current opportunities include managing collection boxes and engaging with local businesses in the Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, and Torquay areas.

Your responsibilities will include checking and replacing collection boxes in pubs, restaurants, and businesses within your designated area. These should be checked every 3-6 months, and full boxes brought to the hospice for counting.

We encourage you to explore new potential collection points!

Training and all necessary resources will be provided.

Rowcroft Hospice is an independent charity offering comfort, support, and specialist care to over 2,000 patients and their loved ones across South Devon annually. Our vision is to make every day the best it can be for those living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
