Responsibilities
- There is the opportunity of ongoing employment and progression onto the Early Years Educator Level 3.
- Follow policies, procedures and systems to meet the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children.
- Become involved in children\βs activities to stimulate and extend their learning.
- Demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility.
- Assist in the admission and induction of new children.
- Assist in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal, EYDCP and Ofsted requirements.
- Take an active role in promoting excellent health and safety practices.
- Respond effectively to health and safety issues and report any necessary matters.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested by the management team.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the general nature of the position as requested by the management team.
- This is a hybrid model apprenticeship. You will work within the setting full-time, with time off the job to complete units for your apprenticeship.
