Are you passionate about helping young children develop a love of learning and achieve their very best? Rowanfield Infant School, part of Gloucestershire Learning Alliance, is looking to appoint a dedicated Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position to join our supportive and welcoming school community.
What you will be doing
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning that enables all pupils to make strong progress.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning in line with the curriculum and the needs of individual pupils.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe and valued.
- Monitoring and supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and upholding the values and expectations of the Trust.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.

- Have experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1.
- Have experience of using assessment information to inform planning and improve outcomes.
- Have experience of working successfully with pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
