Rowan Veterinary Centre is an independently owned, nine-vet small animal practice with a clear sense of who we are and what we stand for. Our directors, Ruth Mackay and Drew Milner-Dunn, aren’t hidden away in an office — they work in and on the business alongside the team, every week.

Purpose-built hospital near Warton with surrounding green space, plus a renovated branch in Blackpool. Separate dog and cat clinical areas; Dedicated operating theatre, imaging suite and dental theatre with X-ray. Visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon and specialist cardiologists. Certificate holders (and those working towards certificates) in dentistry, surgery, ophthalmology, pain management, behaviour and medicine - all supported by Rowan. Inpatient care on site with case continuity we're exceptionally proud of.
20-minute consults as standard. A well-structured day with protected and respected case management time. Morning, midday and evening rounds - collaboration is how we think, not an afterthought. Regular check-ins and appraisals and development built in - not just talked about, acted on. An experienced, trusted RVN nursing team who take patient welfare as seriously as you do.
