Are you a hands‑on engineering professional with a passion for ROV technology and problem‑solving?
We’re looking for a Workshop Technician to play a vital role in maintaining, repairing and continuously improving our fleet of ROV systems, manipulators and associated tooling equipment.
Working within a fast‑paced operational environment, you’ll help ensure our equipment is fully prepared, tested and ready for deployment, supporting projects across the business while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and reliability.
- What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining workshop facilities to support the mobilisation, demobilisation, refurbishment and repair of ROV systems and tooling.
- Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance on ROV equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Performing pre‑ and post‑deployment inspections, testing and quality control audits.
- Diagnosing technical faults and implementing effective repair solutions.
- Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring equipment repairs are completed efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate technical records, reports and asset information within company systems.
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring adequate stock levels of critical equipment and components.
- Working closely with Project, Technical, Asset and Logistics teams to support project mobilisation requirements.
- Supervising ROV Pilot Trainees, offshore personnel and third‑party contractors when required.
- Operating workshop equipment, including forklift trucks and gantry cranes.
- Assisting with workshop logistics, deliveries and general team support activities.
- What we’re looking for
- Time‑served and industrially trained in Electrical, Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering.
- Nationally recognised engineering qualification.
- Practical experience working with ROV systems, ideally including Schilling manipulators.
- Previous experience in an ROV workshop, maintenance or offshore support environment is highly desirable.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills with a logical approach to problem‑solving.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
